At Lerner and Rowe Gives Back, one of our main pillars is built around supporting youth programs. As such, we were thrilled to support the publication efforts of 19 talented student authors from Discovery School with their first book titled Of Light and Shadow.
Each of these students is part of the Young Authors Project in the Glendale School District.
What Is the Young Authors Project?
From the point of view of a local teacher with 12 years within the Glendale School District, the Young Authors Project is a school program that gives students a safe space to express their ideas and emotions, as well as hone their writing skills.
