Over 2,000 foodies and music lovers are expected to attend this annual fundraiser that is presented by GoDaddy.comTM, hosted by NOVA home loans, and that will feature some of the best local artisans, musicians, restaurants, wineries, and breweries.

Live and Local tickets are $50 for general admission and $100 for VIP access.

2014 Trunk or Treat with RNG Farms

No tricks, just treats when Lerner and Rowe Injury Attorneys partners with RNG Farms to host a safe Halloween Trunk or Treat event in the parking lot outside their Pahrump law office at 2220 Nevada West Boulevard on October 31 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Trunk or TreatCandy will be passed out from the trunks of local Model A club cars and those of other local business owners and community members. It’s going to be howlishly good time!

The event is free to the public. Children of all ages are invited to stop by, get some candy and show off their spooktacular costumes.

RNG Farms is a local-owned facility that has subcontracted with Dream Therapies in Las Vegas to bring licensed Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Feeding Therapy, Hippotherapy to special needs children in Pahrump, Nevada.

They offer therapeutic riding to children with a certified C.H.A IRD instructor. They also have a certified Equine Massage practitioner who makes house calls.

Arizona State Fair

General Admission Fair Tickets

General admission tickets to the Fair are:

  • $10 (14+ years and older)
  • $5 (kids 5-13 and for seniors 55+ years old)
  • Free for kids under 5 years old

The Arizona State Fair Foundation is a component fund of the Arizona Community Foundation (EIN:  86-0348306). Ticket sales, vendor exhibits, and donations raised are used to maintain and upkeep the fairgrounds so that future generations will be able to enjoy the Fair for centuries to come.

The 130th annual Arizona State Fair is open to the public through November 2 (closed on Mondays and Tuesdays).  Fairgrounds are located at 19th Avenue and McDowell Road in Phoenix.  Discounted $5 parking is available in the 20th Avenue lot located on the SW corner of 19th Avenue & Encanto. Other guest parking is available in the fairgrounds north lot for $10.00.

PDOP Pumpkin Days 5K Monster Dash Sponsors

As the air starts to chill the Pahrump Disability Outreach Program (PDOP) heats up their annual fundraising efforts with the annual Pumpkin Days and 5k Monster Dash. Last year’s event brought in over $25,000 that the organization used to support and educate local children with disabilities and their families.

This year, our Pahrump personal injury law firm staff members will be volunteering for the whole weekend, and  will donate items for the 5k Monster Dash runner/walker bags and $100 gift card to be given out as a prize to one lucky 5k Monster Dash winner.

The 2014 PDOP 5K Monster Dash will be held on Saturday, October 25 at Ian Deutch Memorial Park (1600 Honeysuckle Street, Pahrump, NV 89048) at 8:00 AM.Participants are invited to dress up in costumes to dash about in ghoulish fun for a good cause!

5K Monster DashThe 2014 PDOP Pumpkin Days is open to the public:

  • Friday, October 24th from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, October 25th from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, October 26 from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Single day entry is just $5 or $10 for the entire weekend. Color-coded wristbands will be sold at the gate for day or weekend passes.

Family fun and food includes: face painting, petting zoo, hay maze, haunted house, train rides, pony rides, a pumpkin patch, kettle corn, hot cider, pulled pork, pumpkin pie, and more.

Lerner and Rowe Gives Back’s team of attorneys and support staff hit the pavement on October 12th in Downtown Phoenix for the 22nd Annual Komen Phoenix AZ Race for the Cure®. Proceeds raised are kept locally and are used to provide life-saving and supportive programs and services to cancer patients, cancer survivors, and their families.

The 22nd annual Komen Phoenix AZ Race for the Cure® begins at 7:35 a.m. at Cesar Chavez Plaza (201 W. Washington St., Phoenix, AZ, 85003) in Downtown Phoenix. Last year Komen CAN AZ raised more than $855,000 that was used to support thousands of people in central and northern Arizona by assisting with mammogram screenings, cancer treatments, cancer education, and cancer survivor services.
