PRM Hope Coach Ride-Along

Phoenix Rescue Mission

The Phoenix Rescue Mission gives corporate sponsors and volunteers the opportunity to give back by taking a ride-along in their Hope Coach van.

Lerner and Rowe staff members went on a ride-along with Chaplain Cliff Danley and were given the opportunity to learn more about often overlooked Phoenix neighborhoods and homeless community members.

They were also able to offer assistance to homeless individuals and families by offering much needed food, water, and personal care items.

The following are comments shared by one of our staff members about the ride-along:

“Cliff [Chaplain Cliff Danley, Hope Coach Driver] was great and so full of stories and spirit.  It was certainly a pleasure to spend the morning with this wonderful person. We were able to tour the shelter facility down by Baseline, as well as the new Changing Lives facility for women and children.

These facilities were awesome and very inspirational as what kind and generous individuals can accomplish when they are put together for a good cause. The staff, volunteers, and residents were all so kind and friendly…“  – Jennifer A. Hornback, Lerner and Rowe Employee

Visit phoenixrescuemission.org to learn more about Hope Coach ride-alongs and other assistance programs and volunteer opportunities the mission offers.

PRM Hope Coach - Brings Hope to Phoenix Homeless

4 Wheel Coach Brings Hope and Help to Homeless

Nearly every day the Phoenix Rescue Mission drives their Hope Coach van throughout the Phoenix Valley.  This allows the mission to have a greater impact in the lives of homeless children, women, and men who may not be able to get to the mission for assistance, or who did not know anything about the mission or the help they offer.

While traveling the streets, the mission hands out Hope Totes.  Each Hope Tote contains a toothbrush, toothpaste, chapstick, shampoo, deodorant, razors and shaving cream, talcum powder, soap, wash cloth, body lotion,  a new pair of socks, bottle of water and snacks.

During the critically hot summer months, as part of their Code Red Heat Relief Campaign, Phoenix Rescue Mission seeks donations of time and goods to help make Hope Totes. Please call (602) 233-3000 to learn more about how you can help save a life and offer hope to the homeless.
