UMOM New Day Centers – Winter Wonderland 2011

UMOM’s 4th Annual Winter Wonderland was a great success! Thanks to all those who participated! Over 250 coats or warm clothing items were given to those currently living at the shelter.

We have some great photos of the event (see below)!

Founded in 1964, UMOM is the largest homeless shelter for families in Arizona. They keep families together, provide a continuum of care from emergency shelter to transitional housing and finally, permanent, affordable housing. Families at UMOM have the opportunity to gain the skills, medical care, quality child care, and education they need to rebuild their lives and succeed when they leave. UMOM served more than 5000 individuals during the 2009-2010 fiscal year and recently celebrated the grand opening of The Legacy Crossing, their newest affordable housing community.

The Choir Boys Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club is a 501c3 tax deductible charitable club that was created by police officers who enjoyed riding their Harley Davidson motorcycles with other fellow officers.
