Our 10-year anniversary event was a spectacular success thanks again to the generous hearts and support received from sponsors, donors, team members, and local vendors. 100% of the record–breaking $1,126,718.56 raised will be given back to benefit Arizona charitable groups and organizations throughout the year to include 18 grant cycle recipients.   

Over $3.75 Million Raised in 10 years

Since 2014, Lerner and Rowe has steadily raised essential funds to benefit those in need. We know that each year’s notable financial accomplishments would not have been possible without the support of all involved.

Golf, Giving, and Good Times

In addition to the charitable element of the day, Golfers were treated to breakfast catered by the McCormick Ranch Golf Club and lunch offerings provided by local food trucks, including Cold Beer & Cheeseburgers and Mister Softee. Other highlights include golfer swag items, raffle drawings, live auction, a drone golf ball drop, and an afterparty that featured surprise entertainment by comedian Adam Ray.

We are excited to see the positive impact the donations will make.”

2023 Sponsor of Walk For Wishes Las Vegas, NV

On Saturday, April 29, our team showed up to support Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada’s fundraising efforts to increase the number of life-changing wishes it can grant for children with critical illnesses. As event sponsors and participants, we were thrilled to be among the many caring organizations and individuals that helped this amazing organization raise $515,867 during its 2023 Walk for Wishes® in Las Vegas.

LRGB Chicago / Merrillville Volunteers Offer Hope & Encouragement

Last week, our Chicago team spent some time coloring cards and writing inspiring messages for Phil’s Friends.

This organization sends out care packages filled with those cards and other care items to adults and children battling cancer.

Our Merrillville team then went on site to volunteer at Phil’s Friends by decorating and packing boxes, making more cards, and preparing blankets.

Chicago Police Departments’ 9^th and 22^nd Districts CAPS Community Events Sponsor

Earlier this month, Chicago Police Departments’ 9^th and 22^nd Districts hosted their annual Spring Break events for children in the community.

These events provided youth with a safe place to have fun with friends between bowling, arcade games, and various sports!

Lerner & Rowe was happy to support these initiatives through sponsorship of the venue and food for lunch.

For the second year, our Las Vegas team has the pleasure of supporting the care of homeless pets in southern Nevada as a sponsor of the annual Nevada SPCA brunch fundraiser. This year’s brunch bash will be held Saturday, April 29th from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Silverton Casino Hotel’s Veil Pavilion. 

TV personality Jon Taffer from “Bar Rescue” will be the special guest emcee. Other highlights include a delectable brunch buffet and bottomless beverages, stage entertainment provided by Cass Cates and Ashley Red, Murray the Magician, and Rob Garrett the “King of Diamonds,” and a silent auction.

Daydreaming About Future Achievements

Lerner and Rowe Gives Back is pleased to once again sponsor PANDA’s (People Acting Now Discovering Answers) “Children Helping Children” Annual Fashion Show and Luncheon. This year’s Daydream Believers themed fundraiser was held on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at the Arizona Biltmore (2400 E Missouri Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85016).

Proceeds raised will benefit the Steele Children’s Research Center’s overall commitment to medical research to find solutions to childhood disorders and diseases. More specifically, the goal for 2023 is to support two areas: translational research into pediatric nutrition, and research to advance technology in congenital heart disease which impacts nearly one in 100 babies.

Event Highlights

Event highlights included a fashion show featuring Addie Rowe and other “Children Helping Children” models, luncheon, live and silent auctions, and raffle. There was also a post-event party.

Billy’s Place offers free resources and support to kids and adults that are grieving the loss of a family member or close friend. On April 1st, our team had the honor of showing our appreciation for its efforts as a Silver Sponsor of the 10th Annual Hike for Hope in Peoria, Arizona. 

We were also thrilled to later learn that Billy’s Way was able to surpass this year’s goal by raising over $158,000! 

Hike for Hope Highlights

Each annual hike provides a unique opportunity for participants to remember and celebrate the memory of their loved ones who have died. For 2023, participants were also given the chance to experience time with therapy animals, listen to lively music, as well as enjoy other activities, food, and fun!

Our Lerner and Rowe Gives Back team enjoyed the springtime weather in Las Vegas at the Behind the Blue Charity Golf Cup that was held on April 1st at the Angel Park Golf Club.

Donations, sponsorships, and other funds raised will be used to support Southern Nevada first responder blue families.

“Behind the Blue provides support to Southern Nevada law enforcement families that experience a catastrophic event. That dedication to serve is what makes our team feel so honored to be able to support Behind the Blue’s inaugural charity golf cup,” shared Glen Lerner.

For the past three years our Merrillville team has assembled bags of food for Housing Opportunities.

This year, we packed 300 bags with meal kits, snacks, and water.

These bags will be given to clients of Housing Opportunities and community members who come through their facility.

This wonderful organization helps those facing homelessness find housing and other services for sustainability.

Wish Ball 2023 – Dare to Wish BOLD

The 2023 Make-A-Wish Arizona Wish Ball achieved a remarkable feat, raising a record-breaking $4.6 million in a single night.

This extraordinary fundraising achievement holds significant importance for the organization as it paves the way for the fulfillment of over 460 future wishes for Arizona children facing critical illnesses.
