2021 NKF Konica Minolta Golf Classic in Phoenix

The NKF Konica Minolta Golf Classic Phoenix is part of a nationwide scramble series that is open to golfers of all skill levels. Members of the top six finishing competitive teams will have the opportunity to advance to the NKF Konica Minolta Golf Classic Championship at Pebble Beach Golf Links in Pebble Beach, California. 

And if that isn’t enough incentive to get you to register to play, all golfers will receive a premium gift collection, breakfast, lunch, and complementary on-course beverages. In turn, all qualifiers will also win prizes from major sponsors.

Donate to Help Combat Hunger in Maricopa County

Lerner and Rowe Gives Back has once again teamed up with ALT AZ 93.3 and the Valley of the Sun United Way to help end hunger in Maricopa County.

This time, for the month of October, supporting the Pantry Pack Drive. The goal of this program is to help provide Pantry Packs to 1,500 students in Maricopa County. 

Each pack will be filled with essential food items to help stretch food dollars within each student’s household throughout the month.

What’s Inside Pantry Packs?

Pantry Packs have a set menu of “shelf-stable pantry items” that include: 

• Canned chicken
• Macaroni and cheese 
• Oatmeal 
• Granola bars 
• Fruit cups 
• Peanut butter crackers 

Valley of the Sun United Way’s Pantry Packs will be distributed to the Roosevelt, Cartwright and Murphy Elementary School Districts, as well as the Academia Del Pueblo and Frank Elementary Schools. United Way supplies the packs and participating schools determine which families are eligible.

How You Can Help Join the Fight Against Hunger

According to the Valley of the Sun United Way, there are 82,000 families in Maricopa County facing chronic food insecurity. That equates to one in four children living in a food insecure home.

5th Annual Tournament to End Human Trafficking

It is our pleasure to be the title sponsor of the Phoenix Dream Center’s 5th Annual Charity Golf Tournament, which supports efforts to end human trafficking.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Tucson held its 4th Annual Swing for the Kids Charity “Day of Play” golf tournament on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Topgolf. Our team was once again a proud supporter of this annual fundraiser that helps ensure the Clubs in Tucson can provide members with festive programs throughout the year, such as specially prepared Thanksgiving dinners and personally selected holiday presents in December.

For the second year in a row, Lerner and Rowe Gives Back has donated $3,000 towards the Night of Hope Gala, which directly supports Amanda Hope Rainbow Angels. Our team was not only spellbound by the glamorous Old Hollywood theme of the evening, but also amazed by the courageous stories they heard about the little warriors fighting childhood cancer and their families.   

Funds raised through event sponsorships like ours, as well as individual contributions, make it possible for Amanda Hope Rainbow Angels to offer free supportive services that provide comfort and care to the many families impacted by childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

Amanda Hope Rainbow Angels offer a variety of supportive programs. Through Major Distractions, little warriors know that something fun is about to happen that will make their day a bit lighter and brighter. 

Comfycozy’s Care Packs are the latest in adaptive apparel that make it possible for nurses to more discreetly access a young cancer patient’s port while also keeping a child comfortably covered. 

Comfort and Care programs provide free counseling, play therapy, and supportive services to families who have a child battling cancer, a blood disorder, or any other life-threatening illness. 

Peer-to-peer support for the whole family is provided by the Family Life program. And, lastly, Financial Assistance is given to help offset medical costs by providing families with little warriors groceries, meals, and assistance with paying utilities.

Lerner and Rowe’s team was proud to sponsor the 1st Annual 1st Responders BBQ/Bike Run with Mission One in Merrillville, Indiana on Saturday, September 18th! This wonderful organization works to give back to the 1st responders and veterans in our communities who sacrifice to protect others.

The morning started with a 91 mile police escorted bike run, followed by an afternoon and evening filled with great food, refreshments, and live music!

Proceeds from the event will go towards purchasing a vehicle for a veteran in need.
