Lerner and Rowe proudly announce their sponsorship of SALEF’s Cops and Rodders Car Show. As southern Arizona’s largest one-day show, Lerner and Rowe hopes to see you at the Cops & Rodders Car Show.

When: Saturday, November 3rd 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

Where: Kino Sports Complex.

Why: The car show serves as a fundraising event for the local police force, including Tucson, Marana, University of Arizona Police, and the Pima County Sheriff’s Department.

Cost: FREE for spectators including parking.  

As an attendee, you can see 900 show vehicles, including law enforcement and military displays. Cops & Rodders showcases several other Arizona area police agencies including Tucson Police Officers, Marana Police Officers, Pima County Sheriff’s Deputies and University of Arizona Police, as well as several others.

Mingle with the local police officers, deputies and many surrounding law enforcement agencies and view police department equipment and assets.  Don’t miss the helicopter, SWAT mobilization vehicles, Bomb unit, K9 units, Motorcycle units and Bicycle Patrol units, Recruiting, and so much more!

The Pahrump legal team was presented with two certificates from the Relay for Life of Pahrump 2017

A member of our Pahrump legal team was recently presented with two certificates for all of the support that she and the law firm offers to the local chapter of Relay for Life throughout the year.

These community events not only honor the memory of lost loved ones, they also show support to survivors of all types of cancers. Additionally,  proceeds brought in by the event help the American Cancer Society make a global impact on cancer.

You can join us in giving back and helping the American Cancer Society take action against cabcer! Volunteer your time, make a donation, or participate in a Relay near you.

How to Get Involved in 2018!

The 2018 Relay for Life of Pahrump is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 13th at Ian Deutch Park (1600 Honeysuckle St.). The times may change but anticipate from 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Lerner and Rowe Gives Back founder Kevin Rowe joined other Arizona businessmen today (October 19th) at McCormick Ranch Golf Club for Scottsdale 20/30 Club’s 29th Annual NiteFlight charitable golf tournament.

The annual event has brought in millions of dollars over the years. These funds are used to directly benefit local children’s charities. We are pleased to sponsor this event and in-turn the organization’s efforts to make a difference in the lives of local youth!

Sponsors of Family Promise of Las Vegas Volunteer Appreciation Party

The Lerner and Rowe Gives Back team recently sponsored a volunteer appreciation event for Family Promise of Las Vegas. The event took place at the Railroad Museum in Boulder City, Nevada.

Thanks to  Lerner and Rowe Gives Back’s sponsorship, approximately 85 volunteers were able to enjoy access to the museum which was later followed by a one-hour train ride. As they soaked in the history of the 100-year old rail cars, they also enjoyed a nice meal and entertainment.

“Partnering up with Family Promise of Las Vegas for this appreciation event was an easy choice. That was primarily due to the vital role they play in helping families with children in Clark County achieve sustainable housing. Unlike homeless shelters in our community, Family Promise is focused on providing overnight shelter and meals to individuals. They are also among the few that provide sustainable housing, especially for families with children. Since Family Promise is the only local organization filling these vital needs for individuals and families with children, we wanted to support them,” said Guy Williams, community outreach manager at  Lerner and Rowe Injury Attorneys.

Organization volunteers fill a variety of roles at each hosting site. These roles include cooking, serving meals, socializing with the guests, assisting parents with children and providing overnight stays. Volunteers also help with running the Day Center, fundraising activities and guest events.

“The volunteer program is the core of the Family Promise network. Therefore, we wanted to bless those who bless needy families in our community,” stated Glen Lerner.

Following the volunteer appreciation event, Program Services Director, Barbara Coggins stated, “We are thankful for Lerner and Rowe’s generosity in underwriting the evening. It was an awesome experience. It was the best appreciation event for our wonderful volunteers, and our volunteers are the backbone of Family Promise Las Vegas.”

Family Promise has been providing community building services in Clark County since 1996. 67% of their guests are children. Their main focus is on transitioning families from homelessness to their own homes. Additionally they assist parents’ return to sustainable employment and connecting people in need with people who want to help.

2018 Breakfast with ChampionsThis morning members from our team attended the 12th annual Special Olympics Arizona’s  (SOAZ) Breakfast with Champions. The event took place at the Arizona Biltmore Resort in Phoenix, Arizona.

Lerner and Rowe and 98KUPD invite you to join us for a packing party hosted at the 98KUPD studios. Currently, there are roughly 1,300 Arizona troops deployed in the armed services. Lerner and Rowe Gives Back and 98KUPD are collecting some of the highest requested items by local troops. We’ll have food trucks on-site for our Veteran and Active Duty service members as well as those helping with the process.

These items include:

  • Crew length socks.
  • Dental products including: toothbrush, full size toothpaste and dental floss.
  • Disposable razors (1-3 packs, in the original packaging).

  • Travel-size foot/body powder.

Lerner and Rowe Gives Back proudly announces their sponsorship of the 30th Annual AIDSWALK Tucson sponsored by Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation (SAAF).   The AIDSWALK will take place on October 14th,2018 at the Joel D. Valdez Main Library at the Jacome Plaza in Downtown Tucson.

More about the SAAF

The SAAF is one of the largest community-based organization in the state. They provide many services for victims of the AIDS virus, and their families.

  • Case management and ancillary support services;
  • Culturally appropriate prevention and education programs to reduce the rate infection;
  • LGBTQ community outreach and engagement.

The Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation works to cultivate a healthy and stigma-free society through transformative action. This AIDSWALK will raise funds to continue prevention programs and LGBTQ initiatives.

The event took place at Steele Indian School Park from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.  It was a fun and festive way to give back and show our support of women and their families that have been effected by breast cancer!
