Lerner and Rowe Gives Back founder Kevin Rowe joined other Arizona businessmen today (October 19th) at McCormick Ranch Golf Club for Scottsdale 20/30 Club’s 29th Annual NiteFlight charitable golf tournament.

The annual event has brought in millions of dollars over the years. These funds are used to directly benefit local children’s charities. We are pleased to sponsor this event and in-turn the organization’s efforts to make a difference in the lives of local youth!

This morning members from our team attended the 12th annual Special Olympics Arizona’s  (SOAZ) Breakfast with Champions. The event took place at the Arizona Biltmore Resort in Phoenix, Arizona.

Join us at the 98KUPDeployment packing party

Lerner and Rowe and 98KUPD invite you to join us for a packing party hosted at the 98KUPD studios. Currently, there are roughly 1,300 Arizona troops deployed in the armed services. Lerner and Rowe Gives Back and 98KUPD are collecting some of the highest requested items by local troops. We’ll have food trucks on-site for our Veteran and Active Duty service members as well as those helping with the process.

When: Friday, November 9 from 6:00 a.m.- 10:00 a.m.

These items include:

• Crew length socks.
• Dental products including: toothbrush, full size toothpaste and dental floss.
• Disposable razors (1-3 packs, in the original packaging).
• Lip balm.
• Travel-size foot/body powder.

Lerner and Rowe Gives Back proudly announces their sponsorship of the 30th Annual AIDSWALK Tucson sponsored by Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation (SAAF).   The AIDSWALK will take place on October 14th,2018 at the Joel D. Valdez Main Library at the Jacome Plaza in Downtown Tucson.

More about the SAAF

The SAAF is one of the largest community-based organization in the state. They provide many services for victims of the AIDS virus, and their families.

• Case management and ancillary support services;
• Culturally appropriate prevention and education programs to reduce the rate infection;
• LGBTQ community outreach and engagement.

The Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation works to cultivate a healthy and stigma-free society through transformative action. This AIDSWALK will raise funds to continue prevention programs and LGBTQ initiatives.

This passed Saturday members of our team went pink from their heads to their feet for the 2nd Annual Pink Out 5k. The event took place at Steele Indian School Park from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.  It was a fun and festive way to give back and show our support of women and their families that have been effected by breast cancer!

They do this through educational and preventative programs, offering mammograms and free wigs. Now, since they have become a prominent figure in the breast cancer community, they focus on providing invaluable free programs to women across the state of Arizona.

Lerner and Rowe Gives Back has a serious case of puppy love for the #LovePup Foundation! As such, we’re proud sponsors of their 2nd Annual Family Fest in Mesa, Arizona. This family-friendly, adoption event is not something you’ll want to miss!

In addition to potentially adopting a new four-legged member into your family, you’ll also be treated to a night of food, fun and live music!

Admission is free. Nonetheless, #LovePup shared they would appreciate donations to help offset costs associated with caring for the rescue dogs. Examples of items on their wish list include:

• collars;
• leashes;
• toys;
• pee pads; and,
• cleaning supplies.

Keynote Speaking Engagement at Walter Hoving Home Annual Gala

The Walter Hoving Home in Las Vegas will be throwing their annual Gala to raise money for their cause. Glen Lerner, one of the founders of Lerner and Rowe Injury Attorneys, will be a guest speaker at their event.

About the Hoving Home

Since June 1967, the Hoving Home has been a center for hope for hundreds of women who reclaimed their lives after drug and alcohol abuse.

The Hoving Home is a residential spiritually-based home that is a non-profit organization that serves women ages 18 and over who have been involved in drug addiction, alcoholism, prostitution and other life-controlling problems. The 6- or 12-month programs help them to rebuild their lives in an atmosphere of warmth, trust, support and love.

The Hoving Home has four homes for women located in CA, NY, NJ and Las Vegas Nevada. Since opening in 1967 the Hoving Home has impacted the lives of 23,216 women.

The women live there for a year, paying a $500 entry fee and $500 a month. It costs about $2,000 a month per woman to run the home. The program, which boasts an 86 percent success rate, receives no government assistance.

The program includes daily devotions, reading the Bible in its entirety, and each woman facing her addiction by understanding what led her down that path, whether it was grief, rejection, abandonment, molestation or some other factor.
