No To Abuse Golf Tournament

No To Abuse Golf Tournament

Lerner and Rowe are happy to announce their sponsorship of a team for the No To Abuse Golf Tournament on Saturday March 10th, 2018. The team is made up of Pahrump Disability Outreach Program (PDOP) Skills Club parents and one club member. Skills is a special needs club run by RNG Farms and is close to Glen Lerner’s heart. Other events that he has hosted in conjunction with RNG farms include Ride ‘em Cowboy and Trunk or Treat.

Nevada Outreach Training Organization

This is not the first time that Glen Lerner has worked with this event, sponsoring and volunteering for this incredible organization for several years. It can be traumatic to be injured, either physically or mentally, and Glen and his office completely understand just that. Collectively, we have found that working with the Nevada Outreach Training Organization (NOTO), the organizers of the No To Abuse Golf Tournament, is an incredibly humbling and rewarding experience. NOTO is composed of several different organizations, foremost of which is No To Abuse. No To Abuse is a domestic violence advocacy program serving victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, trafficking, stalking and teen dating violence. Some of the services that they provide include emergency housing and shelter. This event is to help reduce their costs for the year.

The No To Abuse Golf Tournament is being held at the Mountain Falls Golf Course in Pahrump. It is a four-man best shot (scramble). It is going to be a day full of golfing, food and fun for all ages. Lerner hopes that you will come out to cheer his team on.  Registration begins at 8 am, with shotgun starting at 9 am. Lunch and prizes will be at 2pm.

Lerner and Rowe’s LVMPD Work

Not only do Lerner and Rowe believe in the value of working with the police, but also in giving back to the community and supporting the local police.

Lerner has partnered with OCE for many years with the goal to assist them in reducing violence and crime in the highest crime-ridden areas. Events that Lerner and Rowe have supported and created include Back to School, as well as Thanksgiving dinners, and Christmas activities like Santa in the 106.

As a direct result of this support, and others, violent crime in the areas drops by a huge amount. The offices of Lerner and Rowe continue to support with new events and working with the Office of Community Engagement (OCE). Look for his continued efforts in an area near you and say hi if you see his office.

Sargent Braden Schrag has included Lerner as the symbol of how businesses can become involved with their local police force.

Lerner and Rowe are proud to help Metro accomplish their top goals. He also feels honored with this recognition by the LVMPD at the Inaugural VIP Donor Appreciation Reception.

Container Home Ground Breaking Ceremony- Veterans Village 2

New Mini Homes to House Veterans in Veterans Village

Veterans Village

Lerner and Rowe Gives Back.

Veterans Village recently broke ground on a new transitional housing project for Las Vegas veterans at 50 N. 21st Street on February 26th. The mini houses of Village #2 Container House Village will be constructed out of shipping containers. These containers provide a great low-cost, affordable housing alternative for our community’s veterans.

This organization strives to create an environment specifically for United States Veterans. This includes housing as well as a 24/7 crisis center for those suffering mental illnesses. They have created local public and private partnerships to provide supplies and services for the residents.

Various community leaders, including Mayor Carolyn Goodman, where in attendance and had the opportunity to tour a model of the future container homes.

Our Lerner and Rowe Gives Back team looks forward to supporting Veterans Village in their efforts to benefit the lives of local veterans throughout the upcoming year. We are also honored to consider Veterans Village one of our key partners in improving the quality of life for all Las Vegans.

The offices of Lerner and Rowe strive to give back to the community whenever they can. This is especially true when veterans are involved. Our vets deserve a home to call their own.

There are many ways that you can give back to this prestigious organization, whether it is through Amazon Smile, or through donation of a paver with a special message on it.

Karts & Guitars Sponsorship

KartsandGuitars2018Lerner and Rowe Gives Back is proud to be a $10K level sponsor of Karts & Guitars, the premier kick off event for the 2018 Spring Baseball season! 100% of proceeds raised will benefit Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock Teen Center in Arizona.

Solid Rock is a faith-based creative sanctuary for troubled teens. The organizations primary goal is to make an everlasting difference in the lives of teens by helping them meet spiritual, economical, physical, and social needs.

Solid Rock does this by offering a safe, engaging environment for teens during non-school hours where they can discover their passions for music, dance, and other creative arts through vocational programs. Youth also benefit from enjoying fellowship with their peers and positive adult role models.

As funding in public schools continues to be cut for self-empowering programs such as music, art, and dance, Sold Rock provides a welcoming haven away from other social pressures that could lead to gang membership, acts of violence, and drug use.
