Our legal teams are giving back this October in support of breast cancer awareness.  For the third year in a row, we have the pleasure of co-sponsoring the annual Walk for Hope to Cure Breast Cancer that takes place at the Phoenix Zoo.

Two decades ago, City of Hope held their first 5K Walk for Hope to raise funds to fight cancer breast. 20 years later their efforts to “push the boundaries of science to advance research and treatments on behalf of women everywhere” continue to hold strong.

This was the first year that our northern Arizona legal team held a local Code: Red Summer Heat Relief water drive. We wanted to thank all of the Bullhead City area community members that helped us beat our goal of collecting 500 cases of water!

Together we collected 518 cases. Volunteers from the River Resource Center then delivered the water to local homeless and disadvantaged families during the hot summer months.

An eclectic mix of music will be featured this Saturday night (Oct. 1st) in Phoenix at the “Come Together” benefit concert. Proceeds will benefit the Phoenix Rescue Mission and I Have a Name Project. Both entities focus on increasing awareness, improving living conditions and giving a voice to the needs of the homeless population in the Phoenix Valley.

From 7 PM to 2 AM, original jam band tunes by Gelatinous Groove will be featured center stage at The Pressroom, Phoenix along with the sounds of:

• Phish (Freezer)
• Grateful Dead (Xtra Ticket w/ Special guest Mark Karan of Ratdog)

Must be 21 & over to attend. Tickets for the 2016 “Come Together” benefit concert are $15 in advance, $20 at the door and $50 for VIP seating.

For 2016,  music lovers now get two days to soak up live performances by today’s top country and pop artists. The benefiting charity, SHINE ON Tucson, also gets an additional portion of proceeds to help their charitable works in Tucson.

From September 15 – 17 Law Enforcement Torch Run® (LETR) volunteers, representing as many as 15 different countries, will come together in downtown Phoenix for the 2016 International Torch Run Conference for Special Olympics.

During the three day conference, LETR volunteers will share accomplishments of local volunteers and Special Olympics athletes from the previous year, review updated materials, policies and procedures, as well as go over plans for the upcoming Torch Run year.

As a corporate partner of Special Olympics Arizona, Lerner and Rowe Gives Back is privileged to support the nearly 1,000 law enforcement volunteers that are attending the international conference in downtown Phoenix. Their incredible efforts to build awareness and enhance the lives of Special Olympics athletes are truly inspirational.

International 5K Torch Run and 1 Mile Torch Walk for Special Olympics

The three day conference raps up with a once in a life-time opportunity. LETR volunteers from around the world get to join their fellow comrades and Special Olympics athletes in participating in the International Torch Run 5K or 1 mile walk.
