Paul's Car Wash 2015Lerner and Rowe Gives Back once again joins KPHO CBS 5’s Board Member and Meteorologist Paul Horton for his annual Paul’s Car Wash. For five days CBS 5 team members, Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Central Arizona staff and other community volunteers and corporate partners join Paul’s annual car wash to support BBBS.

Drivers can stop in and get their vehicle hand washed, all while being entertained by a variety of acts and activities to include Howler and G to Fire Eaters and Mini Horse.Dates: Monday, October 19 – 23, 2015

Time: 4:30 AM – 7:00 PM daily

Location: Desert Ridge Marketplace (NW Corner of the Parking Lot near Barnes and Noble)

#LoveUp Fashion Event for Charity

Fashion forward Arizonans are invited to dress to impress and walk the red carpet at the highly anticipated charity #LoveUp Fall Fashion event that kick-offs this Saturday, October 17 at Scottsdale Fashion Square and concludes at W Scottsdale Hotel.Proceeds raised from ticket sales, silent auction items and other donations will be used by the Johnjay & Rich Care for Kids Foundation to help improve the quality of life of children living within the United States Foster Care System.

Kevin Rowe, of Lerner and Rowe Gives Back, struts his stuff at the 2015 Debbie Gaby’s Celebrity Catwalk to help support two local nonprofits on Tuesday, October 13 from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the Omni Scottsdale Resort and Spa at Montelucia.Both of the non-profits to directly benefit from the fashion show, Camp Soaring Eagle and Virginia G. Piper Cancer Center, are doing amazing things within our communities.

The Women’s Resource Medical Center of Southern Nevada (WRMCSN) celebrates over 3 decades of providing life-saving and supportive services to the Las Vegas Valley by hosting their 30th Anniversary Race for Life 5K and 1 mile fun walk on Saturday, October 17 at Cornerstone Park at 8:00 a.m.Race for Life 5K Proceeds raised from the Race for Life will directly benefit WRCSN allowing the non-profit to continue offering free services and also resources to individuals and families in need, including:

3rd Annual Children First Gala

This year’s Keynote speaker, Loretta Claiborne, has been a Special Olympics athlete since 1970 and will share her story of hope, acceptance, and tolerance.

Last year’s Breakfast of Champions had 1,000 attendees and raised over $140,000 for Special Olympic athletes.

Feeding Matters is hosting an inspirational afternoon of success stories and networking opportunities at their 3rd Annual Take Your Place at the Table Luncheon on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at The Arizona Biltmore. Attendees will learn more about the organization and the supportive services Feed Matters offers parents and children who live with feeding difficulties during the hour and a half luncheon from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Members of our team will be attending the event and providing a $5,000 donation to further assist the organization reach their ultimate goal of raising awareness for this condition throughout the medical community.

We are giving back this Sunday, October 4 by joining the fight against breast cancer by sponsoring and participating in the annual Phoenix Walk for Hope to Cure Breast Cancer 5K at The Phoenix Zoo. This event is close to our hearts as Kevin’s mother, Beverly Rowe, is a breast cancer survivor.

Breast Cancer 5K

  • $30 early registration fee for participants 12 years and older (before noon, October 2)

  • 8:00 a.m. 5K begins
