Back-to-School Donation to Roundy Elementary

Lerner and Rowe Injury Attorneys donated 2,500 pencils to Dr. C. Owen Roundy Elementary School in Las Vegas through the Clark County School District (CCSD) School-Community Partnership Program.

As each school has different needs, the CCSD School-Community Partnership Program matched our back-to-school donation with Roundy Elementary School; considered a Title I school with 98% of their student body on the free and reduced lunch program.

Title I is a type of federal classification that was first enacted in 1965 as part of the “War on Poverty” to ensure equal educational opportunities for children of all socio-economic backgrounds.

#LoveUp for Charity

Lerner & Rowe Gives Back partners with charities and local non-profits to work together for the good of the community. Improving the lives of the people in the cities we do business in has always been a goal of Lerner & Rowe Gives Back. Kevin Rowe was recently introduced to the social movement #LoveUp that was created by Johnjay and Rich from iHeartradio to remind people of the importance of paying it forward and spreading love.

After learning about #LoveUp and how it supports the Johnjay & Rich Care for Kids Foundation’s mission to help improve the quality of life for foster care children, Lerner and Rowe purchased t-shirts for the entire legal team, with sales directly benefiting the foundation.

Pay it Forward and #LoveUp

JohnJay and Rich have helped thousands of foster care children through the Care for Kids Foundation. With the help of supporters like you they have been able to raise money to give needy children basic supplies like food, clothing, and hygiene supplies.

We urge you to join us in the #LoveUp movement! You can pay it forward and spread the love too by grabbing your own t-shirt at http://loveupapparel.org/ and then share photos of you wearing it online using the tag #LoveUp.

diminish heat-related illnesses and deaths.

Dangerously High Temps Harm Homeless

Dangerously high temperatures in the Phoenix area leave homeless, men, women and children blistered by the summer sun and helpless to get the protection and life sustaining hydration and nutrients they need to survive. To give the Mission a boost in reaching their 2015 goal, Lerner and Rowe Gives Back has agreed to match all water donations made through August 31, 2015!

You can help make a difference in the lives of homeless individuals, families and the elderly by dropping off cases of bottled water at one of the following Lerner and Rowe law office locations, Monday – Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm:

  • 535 East McKillips Rd., Building 2, Suite 105, Mesa, AZ 85301
  • 5525 West Glendale Ave. , Suite 201, Glendale, AZ 85301
  • 7200 West Bell Rd., Suite D-2, Glendale, AZ 85308
  • 2701 E. Camelback Rd., Suite 140, Phoenix, AZ 85016

Staggering Statistics

Each year, an average of 118 people die in Arizona from excessive heat exposure. Last year there were 26 deaths reported in Phoenix. With the combined efforts of Code Red, Lerner and Rowe Gives back and you, we can help rescue our homeless neighbors and underserved community members from the heat and provide them with fresh water, nutritious food, and other vital items through the Phoenix Rescue Mission.

Faith Lutheran Safe Grad Nite Sponsors

safe Grad NiteFaith Lutheran Safe Grad Nite Sponsors

Our Las Vegas personal injury law offices are community sponsors of Faith Lutheran’s safe Grad Nite celebration. Faith Lutheran hosts the event each year to give the class a final chance to have fun together in a safe, alcohol and drug-free environment.

Safe Grad Nite was initially started by a committee of concerned parent who wanted to help prevent personal injury and deaths on a statistically dangerous night for high school graduates.

Leading Causes of Grad Night Injuries

The leading causes of teenage injuries and deaths on graduation night are related to underage drinking and driving, drowsy driving, distracted driving and not buckling seat belts in case of an accident.

At Lerner and Rowe Injury Attorneys we wish to congratulate each high school graduate on their accomplishment and wish them the best in their future endeavors. We also want to strongly encourage them to be safe and responsible as they celebrate with their family and friends.
