Dear Glen,

On behalf of Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada, the Board of Directors, staff an especially the families we serve, we express our sincerest appreciation for your annual sponsorship of $10,000 mane on February 18,2015. Your annual sponsorship contributed to our Evening of Hope, which helped raise $140,000 for children with cancer in southern Nevada. Additionally, part of your donation will also contribute to our Runners for Candlelighters Fundraiser, April 12.2015 and our Riders for Candlelighters Kids Fundraiser on April 18, 2015. Both programs are raising much needed funds to help Candlelighters families when they need it most.

Candlelighters has been helping families who have children diagnosed with cancer for over 37 years. Making life better for children with cancer and their families is at the heart of Candlelighters mission. Donations such as yours enable us to provide our programs and services during the course of the child’s treatment. Services include: financial assistance, emotional and educational support as well as family events throughout the year to ensure the family remains intact during their child’s cancer journey.

Lerner and Rowe Injury Attorneys takes giving back to new heights as a second year community sponsor of the 2015 Pahrump Balloon Festival. The three-day festival and carnival takes place from March 20 – 22, at Petrack Park located at 150 State Highway 160, Pahrump, NV 89060.

2015 Pahrump Balloon Festival Highlights:

11th Annual Hablamos Español Expo

Lerner and Rowe Injury Attorneys handed out free giveaways at The 11th Annual Hablamos Español Expo at The Centre of Elgin and the Heritage Ballroom, 100 Symphony Way in downtown Elgin, Saturday, March 7 from 10:00 a.m-3:00 p.m. This free event, which draws more than 1,000 people into downtown Elgin annually, is a celebration of Hispanic heritage, culture, arts, business and community. New this year will be the inaugural Prom & Quinceañera Fashion Show featuring U-46 students showcasing beautiful Latina fashions from Bella’s Fashions, 156 E. Chicago Street, in downtown Elgin and prom dresses from YWCA Elgin’s iHeart Prom Expo (March 13) and Cinderella’s Closet event (March 21), where teens can get a prom dress for less starting at only $15.

The Global Charity Foundation was founded in February 2007 and carries out a mission to provide health care and education assistance to the most needy in the United States, India, and Ghana. Locally, the organization provides assistance to Children’s Free Clinic of Southern Nevada in Las Vegas. Nationally, they provide health care and education for women and children living in shelter who are victims of domestic violence.

They also extend educational assistance to at-risk inner city school children through after-school tutoring programs. Internationally, Global Charity Foundation provides cancer chemotherapy treatment for children with cancer in India and educational assistance to indigent children in India and Ghana.
