Today Lerner & Rowe Gives Back hit the road for a $5,000 check presentation in Casa Grande! We funded the Valley Humane Society’s “Last Litter” and “Forever Foster” programs. The picture of the puppies will be the first litter spayed and neutered with our grant dollars, and the picture of the single dog is the first dog to be able to go into their Forever Foster program.
The “Last Litter” program provides free spay/neuter to all adults when a litter of puppies is surrendered for adoption. The “Forever Foster” program places senior animals with single senior humans for the purpose of companionship and quality of life for both the dog and the human.
Valley Humane Society provides all necessary medical treatments and medication for these pets, to ensure that the “foster” is not taking on a huge financial burden. If necessary, they also provide food, bed, bowls, etc.
