Animal Welfare Day in Chicago
Our Chicago team had the pleasure of volunteering with the Anti-Cruelty Society last week.
During our visit, team members learned all about the organization’s history, what they do to serve people and animals throughout Chicago, and how our team can help be a part of that impact.
Volunteers even made tug toys and no-sew beds for the shelter’s residents!
It was a great afternoon filled with service and furry snuggles.

Our Lerner and Rowe Gives Back team hosted an impromptu Las Vegas Christmas toy giveaway with the Clark County School District Police Department outreach team in the neighborhood behind The STRAT Hotel, Casino, and SkyPod.
500 children and their families were beaming with smiles while visiting with Santa as Glen Lerner and team helped him hand out toys.
“Of all of the community outreach activities that we do in over a half a dozen states, I absolutely love taking a box-truck filled with toys into economically depressed neighborhoods and passing them out to the children and families. Seeing the look of joy on the children and their parent’s faces is one of the most rewarding of experiences. What a fitting way to end our 2022 community outreach season!” –Glen Lerner

Lerner and Rowe Gives Back gifted a $10,000 grant to the Put On The Cape (POTC) foundation to “do something great with it.” On Monday, December 5th POTC, with the help of Santa, Mrs. Claus, and Santa’s Super Elves, will travel across the valley in a caravan of giving to do just that!
During each stop at one of POTC foundation family advocacy center partners in Peoria, Goodyear, Chandler, Scottsdale, and Glendale—$2,000 will be given to two adopted families that have been devastated by abuse this year.
How to Join the POTC Caravan of Giving
Want to join the POTC caravan? Bring a new, unwrapped toy and give to any of these Arizona family advocacy centers:
Southwest Family Advocacy Center
Glendale Family Advocacy Center
Scottsdale Family Advocacy Center
Chandler Family Advocacy Center
Surprise Police Victim Advocate
New Pathways for Youth
Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community Family Advocacy Center (Tribal)
Or, you can make an online donation now. The best part of this caravan of giving is that when you give to POTC, they will give back to those who need it the most.
