Our Lerner and Rowe Gives Back team sponsored the Family Empowerment Summit in Las Vegas over the weekend.
The event was designed to empower parents to further protect their children from human trafficking and exploitation.
The Summit began outside where several dozen vendors who combat human trafficking passed out collateral material on their organizations efforts, and then we moved inside where local and national experts in the field of human trafficking provided the attendees with real tools and opportunities to empower families, guardians, and kids in this vulnerable environment.

Our Lerner and Rowe team was back in Las Vegas to support the 2022 Special Olympics Nevada Torch Run.
Nearly two hundred police officers from the Las Vegas Metro Police Department, Clark County School Police, Nevada Corrections, and North Las Vegas Police Department participated in the Run to raise funds for the Special Olympics Nevada.
Runners carried the “Flame of Hope” along the approximate 2.5 miles loop on the Las Vegas Strip.
“Special Olympics is an incredible organization, which we have supported for years. The Special Olympics athletes are such an inspiration to us all,” Glen Lerner.

We couldn’t agree more with The C.A.R.E. (Children’s Aid and Relief Efforts) Organization’s philosophy that “One person can’t help everyone, but everyone could help someone.” That’s why our team was thrilled to join others in supporting the organization’s mission with a $2,000 donation for its inaugural Red Carpet Gala on September 24th at the Gila River Resorts & Casinos – Wild Horse Pass.
We were also delighted to learn that over $160,000 was raised at this first-time charitable event. We were also pleased that all proceeds will go directly towards immediate group home renovations and other long-term projects that provide shelter and support to victims of child sex trafficking, abuse, and poverty.
If you are sorry to have missed out on an amazing evening of giving back, you can learn how to get involved with The CARE Organization’s 2023 Red Carpet Gala at CareOrg.com.
