As a repeat event sponsor of Holmberg’s Happy Ending Comedy Show, we invite you to give back and enjoy an evening of hilarity hosted by John Holmberg. $1 from each ticket you purchase goes to one of our favorite organizations, the Arizona Humane Society.

This all-ages fundraiser takes place on Saturday, December 21 at the Celebrity Theatre in Phoenix, AZ. Theatre doors open at 7:00 p.m. with the show starting at 8:00 p.m.*

Bringing a Little Love, Light, and Happiness at Christmastime

Our community partners with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department joined us for a surprise Christmas gift giveaway pop-up. Kevin and Glen also had fun giving away Walmart gift cards to those who joined us live online.

We are extremely grateful to everyone who supports us and for those who have allowed us to help them in their time of need. Additionally, we wish all of you a blessed, healthy, and happy holiday season.

Our team was at #LovePup’s It’s Hip to Chip Holiday Event in Phoenix on Saturday, December 7 handing out pet bandannas and freebies. At the event #LovePup joined with AZPetVet to once again offer FREE microchips to personally-owned pets for the holidays!

Pet owners who were behind on licensing or renewing their dog’s pet license were also given the opportunity to get licensed and up-to-date without penalties.  

What Is the Hip to Chip Program?

#LovePup’s It’s Hip to Chip program is an ongoing Maricopa County program that provides a FREE microchip to every dog that gets adopted from the county shelters. Microchips serve as important permanent identification that gets implanted in your dog so they can be scanned and later reunited with you if they ever get lost. 

Our team is thrilled to be a major sponsor of the #LovePup Foundation and their continuous efforts to look after the welfare of animals. 

10 Year Supporters & Bike Assemblers

The McKenna Youth Foundation’s annual Children’s Holiday Party is what this season of goodwill and giving is all about—a community coming together to help their fellow neighbors who may be working to overcome economic obstacles in their lives.

For the past ten years our team has been actively involved in assisting the McKenna Youth Foundation during the holiday season. Each year we look forward to assembling bikes for disadvantaged youth in Phoenix and directly interacting with their other family members.

We had an amazing time giving back and building relationships with local community members during the 2019 Turkey Giveaway.  Our team is also greatly appreciative for all of the support given from our volunteers and community partners.

From our start in Merrillville, Indiana to ending in Las Vegas, Nevada we gave out over 9,000 turkeys and side fixings. We wish everyone a safe and wonderful holiday season!

Lerner and Rowe Gives Back is the official sponsor of the 2019 Ed Doherty Award Luncheon. The Ed Doherty Award is the state of Arizona’s highest individual high school football honor and is awarded annually to the state’s most outstanding high school football player by the Grand Canyon State Gridiron Club.

2019 Ed Doherty Award Luncheon details:

Each week during the 2019 high school football season, 56 high school football players from high schools across Arizona are awarded exceptional performance medallions for outstanding play.

Out of these 56 talented players, only one will be named the winner of the 2019 Ed Doherty Award. Those chosen must meet specific eligibility criteria to include: participation during the first three weeks of the current season, recorded exceptional performance, and good academic standing.

What Is the Grand Canyon State Gridiron Club?

The Grand Canyon State Gridiron Club (GCSGC) is a private organization founded to promote, celebrate, and support Arizona amateur athletics. 

GCSGC does this by bringing national attention to the extraordinary qualities and pursuits of athletic achievement, academic advancement, and social affinity of local young people across the state of Arizona.

KUPDeployment Pack Donation & Volunteering

Once again our team jumped in to support our troops by helping the Holmberg’s Morning Sickness radio show put together 1,300 care packages at their KUPDeployment Pack party.  The assembled packs will be sent to deployed troops serving overseas from our home state of Arizona. We also donated $5,000 to assist in covering shipping costs.

Our team will have a booth setup at the 2019 Light The Night Walk in support of the Arizona Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s efforts to find cures and ensure access to available treatments for blood cancer patients. We encourage others to join us and other community groups and individuals for what plans to be an unforgettable evening of remembrance to celebrate and honor all those touched by cancer.

This year, the Light The Night Walk takes place on Saturday, November 16 at the Phoenix Municipal Stadium (5999 E. Van Buren St., Phoenix, AZ 85008) from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Other Light The Night Walk highlights include:

• Remembrance Dome
• Hall of Heroes
• Food trucks
• Live band and fireworks show

Las Vegas Project Hero’s Honor Ride in Las Vegas

Our Lerner and Rowe Gives Back team started celebrating Veteran’s Day early by participating in Project Hero’s Honor Ride on Saturday, November 9, 2019 in Las Vegas. It was a wonderful event that started out with a wedding of two of the riders, one being a disabled veteran.

That was followed by an award of a custom built recumbent bike that Lerner and Rowe had built for a veteran.

We first learned of the Project Hero Honor ride when one of our employees asked the office to donate to the bicycle event that he participates in annually in honor of his father. We were so moved by the mission and vision of Project Hero that we sponsored their event last year.

Of all the events we do in 6 states, we fell in love with how Project Hero honors our veterans and first responders, so this year we wanted to help them even more by providing a bike to one of our local veterans who would benefit the most. This is a perfect example of why we named our non-profit Lerner and Rowe Gives Back. –Glen Lerner.
